Description

I first read Deadline in the 90’s.  I loved the book.  I didn’t even know who Randy Alcorn was at that time.  I just thought that the author’s depiction of heaven was very thought provoking.  And I loved a good mystery.  Then last year, I picked up the book from my shelf and realized it was written by Randy Alcorn, who most people have now heard of.  Then I saw that he had written other books, such as Deception, Dominion, Safely Home, and Courageous.  I haven’t found any bad language in his books, but they do deal with some difficult subjects such as abortion, racism, gang violence, and persecution.  I have really grown in my understanding of these sinful areas in our lives, and how deceived we can be by the things of this world.  I highly recommend these books.
