The Apocalypse Code
Hanegraaff, arguably the world’s foremost amillennial partial preterist, points his pen directly at popular premillennialism in his search for the truth behind the prophecies of Revelation and other end-time texts. By looking at these passages in a new way he proposes a new hermeneutic, unveiling a form of typology touting Christ as the fulfillment of every biblical ‘type and shadow’. Seemingly future fulfillments of some prophecies (including Davidic and Abrahamic promises) are reimagined as a form of covenant theology, and premillenialism models are discarded in favor of the futurist model as presented. This is the foundational information for his fictional series (co-authored with Sigmund Brouwer), The Last Disciple series.
